The Perception® Platform is perfect for delivering 2D and 3D high definition (HD) content in 720p, 1080i and 1080p video formats, as well as standard definition (SD) 480i/p and 576i/p content.

This module allows the subscribers to view the IP-TV and listen to IP-Radio streams. The streams can be intuitively categorized by language, content type, or other parameters the provider defines.

Time shifting functions are supported for all content types. Additional features like time dependent channel access restriction, text-based user notification and other advanced features are also supported by the module.

  • Time shifting features: Catch-up TV, Start over TV, Pause-live TV
  • Per-channel parental control (locking, skipping, ...)
  • Browsing through channels with channel up/down control keys, or directly by inserting the channel number
  • Selecting a channel from an ordered list, either by languages, by genres, HD-property and other parameters
  • When changing channels, current show EPG information is displayed, with possibility of viewing previous and next shows with the press of a single button on the remote control
  • Recording the current channel with the press of a single button on the remote control
  • Viewing the current channel's EPG list for current day with the press of a single button on the remote control
