This information can also be delivered via the front page of graphical user interface's main menu, which implements slots for displaying Widgets. Each widget can display different information, let it be a simple weather widget, subscription status widget, a highly advanced stock exchange widget, or an advertisement widget defined by the service provider.
Some of the Widgets that are available by default:

- Storage status widget
- On this day in history...
- Recommended VoD content widget
- nPVR recorder status widget
- Currency exchange rates widget
- Hints and tips widget
- Famous quotes widget
- Famous proverbs widget
- ... and many more!
Widgets are available also on mobile and PDA clients. Some of the Widgets have additional settings that enable the subscriber to even further customize the appearance of the specific Widget.
For example, in the Weather Widget properties, the subscriber can select the city the weather information is shown for, while in the Currency exchange rate widget they can select custom currencies that they are interested in.
This puts the user in control of the information he receives and brings the service to a whole new level!
