Features: Subscription management

One of the more exciting features of The Perception^® Platform's graphical user interface is the self-provisioning portal. Here, the viewers can manage their subscriptions, agreements and view commercial offers, defined by the provider.

The subscriber can have a full or limited control in this portal. The limits can be:

• time-based - e.g.  changing the channel package subscription status once per month, and/or
• function-based - e.g. the subscriber can have access to additional bonus offers, if he is a subscriber of one of the providers premium packages

The Perception^® Platform implements application based authentication (e.g. Personal Identification Numbers - PIN ), network based authentication or device-level based authentication, depending on the infrastructure of the provider. The authentication types are fully configurable via a simple administrative interface.
