The services subsystem is an advanced decentralized server system, consisting of many role-specific servers. The system can be dynamically expanded to fit the provider's needs and satisfy the demands of the today’s fast growing market.

The Perception^® Platform's service subsystems are divided into five server types, each with its own specific role. This type of hierarchy drastically simplifies the configuration layout and thus lowers the maintenance costs for the service provider.
