As we all know, while today's set-top box clients act as a perfect interface between the demanding user and the simple television, cost cutting is also a very important aspect of running a business, especially in a highly competitive market such as IP-TV. While set-top box client devices can easily decode and display MPEG-2 video, MPEG-2 audio, MP3 audio and MPEG-4 video, there are certain seldom supported or completely unsupported video compression codecs.

This should in no way discourage the operator from providing support for this type of content. This is where our encoding services come in place. Our encoders can take virtually any type of input and provide an output which best suits the provider's needs. With such technology, even the simplest of set-top box client devices  can deliver, for example, a live OGG-encoded SHOUTcast-based radio station.

Our encoding services are also used for producing output, optimized for playback on other devices. For instance, MPEG-2 live stream can be easily transcoded to a resolution and bitrate suited for handheld devices, making it fit to be played on virtually any mobile device.
